I believe my purpose is given by God, is to give – to help make this world a better place. So many of you have helped me by giving, supporting, caring, guiding, and believing in me. Now, it’s time for me to give back to you.
Nearly four decades ago, I came to the United States from China in search of freedom. Like many of you, I studied and worked tirelessly, saving every penny and building a life from the ground up. But I didn’t do it alone – your kindness and support made all the difference.
Whether you know me or not, your very existence has helped me along the way – in big ways and small, directly and indirectly.
I will never forget. You recognized me as an honor student. You gave me opportunities to serve. You encouraged me through hardship. You smiled when I passed by. You welcomed me as a friend. You tolerated me as who I am. It is because of YOU that YesWeCare exists.
