- Nearly four decades ago, I came to the United States from China in search of freedom. Like many of you, I studied and worked tirelessly, saving every penny and building a life from the ground up. But I didn’t do it alone – your kindness and support made all the difference.
- Whether you know me or not, your very existence has helped me along the way – in big ways and small, directly and indirectly.
- I will never forget. You recognized me as an honor student. You gave me opportunities to serve. You encouraged me through hardship. You smiled when I passed by. You welcomed me as a friend. You tolerated me as who I am. It is because of YOU that YesWeCare exists.
